Single Traffic Regulation Orders – A Rural Clearway outside a busy Accident and Emergency (A&E) entrance for a Hospital. Located on the border of rural and urban characteristic it was necessary to introduce a scheme where all three entrances (the middle one being the entrance to the A&E department. The photos illustrate both terminal ends and the entrance to the A&E.
Area wide study undertaking – consultancy, design and build up of the scheme in an area affected by the following users: Seaside, business, residential and schools. This work involved the introduction of Traffic Regulation Orders. It was a requirement by the client to design the signs in a bilingual format.
Pay and Display study – analysis of the motorist’s movements - should a pay and display car park be introduced. This work comprised of gathering information from other sections and predicting the movements of the motorist. This work was considered for three villages within a City.
Signing – ADS and LDS, use of Autosign, Chapter 7 and the Traffic Signs and General Directions 1994. Investigating and revising the sign logic within a given area.
